Plant on Demand is an e-commerce and management platform designed for local producers, food hubs, and cooperatives. The platform facilitates the digitalization and automation of processes, while promoting collaboration among stakeholders in the short food value chain. This enhances the competitiveness of small producers and boosts the sales of local, organic products.
In 2020, Plant on Demand participated in the Raise for Impact acceleration program led by Social Nest Foundation. This experience was pivotal in shaping the company and preparing for its first successful investment round of 100,000 euros, completed in 2021.
With the support of Social Nest Foundation, Plant on Demand has gained visibility at various impact ecosystem events across Spain and Europe, such as Fi Gathering Amsterdam, where it connected with national and international investors, forming key relationships that later resulted in investments. The company also participated in the 4YFN-Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2022. Furthermore, Plant on Demand is one of the portfolio startups of Fondo de Fundaciones, where Social Nest Foundation is an investor.
